Romy Day Winkel is a writer and artist based in Amsterdam. One of her ongoing projects is called Romance Utopia, in which she collects, creates and responds to images and texts that muster a sense of romantic decomposition or ineptitude. She works as a freelance teacher in writing and narrative at Design Academy Eindhoven and Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Her essays and short stories are published in De Revisor, DIG, DAISYWORLD, Mister Motley, Metropolis M and Extra Extra among others.
